【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversdeformedandplaincarbon-steelbarsforconcretereinforcementincutlengthsandcoils.Steelbarscontainingalloyadditions,suchaswiththeAmericanIronandSteelInstituteandtheSocietyofAutomotiveEngineersseriesofalloysteels,arepermittediftheresultingproductmeetsalltheotherrequirementsofthisspecification.ThestandardsizesanddimensionsofdeformedbarsandtheirnumberdesignationsaregiveninTable1.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintables)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.1.2Barsareoffourminimumyieldstrengthlevels:namely,40000[280MPa],60000[420MPa],75000psi[520MPa],and80000[550MPa],designatedasGrade40[280],Grade60[420],Grade75[520],andGrade80[550],respectively.1.3Plainbars,insizesuptoandincluding2x00BD;in.[63.5mm]indiameterincoilsorcutlengths,whenorderedshallbefurnishedunderthisspecificationinGrade40[280],Grade60[420],Grade75[520],andGrade80[550].Forductilityproperties(elongationandbending),testprovisionsofthenearestsmallernominaldiameterdeformedbarsizeshallapply.Requirementsprovidingfordeformationsandmarkingshallnotbeapplicable.Note18212;Weldingofthematerialinthisspecificationshouldbeapproachedwithcautionsincenospecificprovisionshavebeenincludedtoenhanceitsweldability.Whensteelistobewelded,aweldingproceduresuitableforthechemicalcompositionandintendeduseorserviceshouldbeused.TheuseofthelatesteditionofAWSD1.4/D1.4Misrecommended.Thisdocumentdescribestheproperselectionofthefillermetalsandpreheat/interpasstemperatures,aswellasperformanceandprocedurequalificationrequirements.1.4Thisspecificationisapplicableforordersineitherinch-poundunits(asSpecificationA615)orinSIunits(asSpecificationA615M).1.5Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
